Meet Sorrin Chase. A British-born, Jamaican artist going through adolescence whilst facing the challenges of love, lust, faith, and power to truly find his place in the heart of South London. Over time, he learns to use his cultural differences to aid his transition through manhood and center stage as he also connects with his Jamaican roots and finally develops his own musical sound of Island Blues, a cross of Rhythm ‘n Blues and Island music. inspired by his Caribbean heritage.

About the Authors Journey
‘Skin’ was somewhat based on the idea that in life we have cycles and it is stated that after over a period of 7 years, all of our cells regenerate and we are officially a new person. Skin follows a creative similar to myself, a 360 artist who explored his memoirs at an old age and explored his life, starting from before he was born, his family genealogy, up until his later years when he becomes a known star.
We observe his life, and skin is somewhat a reflective biopic of my life, certain things I have experienced as an artist, as a creative, and as a British-born, a Jamaican immigrant.
